Emphasis on OH!

Yeah, I wonder what sort of winds that is designed to withstand, can't imagine its a particularly strong type of roofing to be fair.

Still its impressive, no doubt that is going to be the image that is used of this storm.

I am surprised the red alert didn't get extended to a later time. Just had our highest gust here yet at 85mph. Blew the washing line over and some branches just snapped off the trees. It's actually much windier now than when the red alert was in place

My thoughts too, I expect a lot of damage along South Wales, hopefully they should start to ease over the next hour for us.

Hard to tell i'd say that probably looks around 65 - 70.

Quietest day of the week here due to more southern track. May get some wind this afternoon either from lunch or from the storm

Really calmed down here now.  Not sure if the worst has passed through or being lulled into a false sense of security!

Nah, you're alright - we'd never have got the matches to light in this wind

Storm Eunice has brought England's highest ever recorded gust of wind of 122mph on the Isle of Wight, the Met Office has said.

The two red warnings run from 7am until 12pm in the South West and 10am until 3pm in the South East with forecasters concerned over 'flying debris resulting in danger to life'.

Of course they would, they just take the figure and make a story. This doesn't sound like the wind in 87 yet, hopefully will not.

London’s O2 seems to be getting shredded

Winds are now picking up here across NW England as Eunice moves eastward lots of squally showers with hail thrown in.
