Looks like the warnings to far east especially for East Anglia. This tends to happen so I'm unsure why they always include coastal areas the convergence is always more inland.

Exactly happens time after time

Storms passing just to the north, or developing just to the south.

I give up, not going to happen today. That mass of rain won't even give everything a much needed water as its western edge is just petering out.

Sudden eruption near Canterbury has given me renewed hope. Anything can happen!

Here in sunny Reigate, our specially developed "Reigate Storm Shield"™️   is in full action, keeping the storms away to day.

The little blighters made an attack on the town from the east. However, the RSS forced the storms to veer south into nearby Crawley. Well, they are a rum bunch there, after all.

Of course, should the Reigate Storm Shield™️  fail, I'll file storm reports as normal.

I can finally hear thunder!

6 thunder days this year. Not too shabby.

Unbelievable, the sferics died out going into Bouremouth, only to reignite over the Purbecks.

From the Merstham side of Reigate, we’ve had a steady fall of rain with the odd rumble of thunder and the 1 flash of lighting. It’s been very disappointing so far.

As usual....absolutely sod all up here. No rain, no thunder. Just muggy and cloudy

Literally have no idea when we can expect a storm next, the last 35 storms warnings we have had over the last 2 years have brought no storms.

*sigh*

You were not under a storm warning today, so therefore a correct forecast?

A friend of mine just took this...can anyone tell me what the weird collapsed funnel looking bit is?

Is it just a heavy rainy section?

Full on thunderstorm in Bordon at the moment, streets starting to flood quite badly from the looks of things as well where the water is just running off. We maybe getting into flash flooding territory here now.
