Right! This looks like it’s getting interesting. I’ll be heading out possibly, despite it actually heading directly towards me here in W Norfolk on its current trajectory! It’ll be at 1-3AM too, which would be brilliant!!

Activity under Weymouth where the heavy rain is. Could turn decent as time moves on. - I'm guessing. I am relatively new here, so take what i say with a pinch of salt!

Where are you in Hants?

I'm hoping it continues to us in Lincolnshire, slim chance but guess we'll see, night still young

Lightning towards the IoW.

I have a live RTSP feed going.

Probably the best direction to point it. Fizzling out here after a few claps with the heaviest of the rain heading in land. Tomorrow afternoon and evening looking good for here.

Looks like you’ll get at least some of it, if it holds out.

Yep - that's the good thing about this coming week, ample opportunities. 👍

As others have mentioned, not many CGs. One of those very flashy but not very boomy nights perhaps? Just hiding in my car from a downpour before I resume the photo attempts

Nice one! At least i can go to bed knowing that I've seen some sferics tonight (I'll grab anything... it's been a 'quiet' year in my location). Onwards and upwards, hopefully i can return the favour over the next few days...😛⚡⚡

Some serious activity developing in the channel now, over 5000 strikes in the last 90mins! Time to get ready for the chase! Good luck to anyone that's heading out to see this.

Reminder for those saying September isn’t a good month for storms 😉 here’s hoping it gets inland

All tailed off rather quickly now, still raining but very little electrical activity apart from the distant flashing from the stuff in the channel.
