Looks like I'm in the direct path for this line of storms coming off the channel, I hope it's as good as yesterday's storms

WOW!

An incredible storm here just passed through.

I will start with the Wind!

A roar that continued during biblical rain and constant flashing and booming thunder.

Beautiful fork lightning overhead and house rocking thunder.

The wind certainly had unusual elements, perhaps tornadic or a strong gust front, just blowing furiously without pause.

8/10

Some intra cloud flashes and bangs before shotgun thunder overhead here in Washington.  Not a big storm but some decent rainfall with it. I'm happy with that!

Not a massive storm here in Horsham flashes and whipcrack thunder about every 5 minutes or so

Anybody else in the SE see an amazing shelf cloud from this Storm but the lightning isn't bright enough to illuminate it?

Looking ahead beyond the current fun, this mini-plume on Monday night looks good on ECM

Evening all,a nice suprise little chase this evening. Still haven't summarized the last few nights yet but will get round to it. Nice little storm just passed over this evening here with some torrential rain and some half decent lightning. Nothing in comparison to what happened here a few nights ago but still worthy of getting out again. Good luck to anyone who is out on the chase tonight. Storms are moving NNE from here.

Quite possibly the cause of such insane winds here on the Sussex coast?

The moon is being covered by cirrus, I've just seen a distant flash to my south. According to radar this would be around Tonbridge Wells. I'd say about 80 miles from here.

Juicy line developing there, can't remember the last time September had so many imports. Been a good few years I'd of thought

Was sat up at the devil's dyke Inn just north of hove watching this come in over a nice pint of Guinness.

Some brilliantly bright flashes now - right across the sky - and first thunder heard! Third thunder night in four days - Septembers are pony apparently 😂🥳

Lightning detector not picking these up well too it seems!

I dunno mate I think it’s just going to be heavy showers as anything hits land from now on. I’d like to think otherwise but I probably won’t come to anything

Just managed to catch this roll-cloud / shelf-type feature illuminated by lightning. Almost looks like a tornado.

Wind really got up too!!
