Not seen a day like this in a while. It’s like a pressure cooker with convection going up every direction.

This is what I live for in summer.

Just seems we are exceptionally poor placed, convection just like Sat kicking off to our south and hitting SW Cumbria. It is frustrating immensely! We seem to be one of few places in whole region worse placed.

Oh yes dark skies to my west and sw, sun still out here. Can't hear any thunder. No shower activity to our SE where everything is coming from.

Do you think there is anymore this evening?

No idea, given how sparse storms are here usually. We’ve probably got 1-2 hrs of potential to find out.

Can hear thunder to E, S and W and see lots of “towers”.  The showers have stirred up a bit of a breeze too.  So far dry and really pleasant sitting out having tea on the decking.  If it wasn’t for yesterday’s storm I might be wishing for a direct hit, but as it is, enjoying listening and  watching.
