Ligit shelf cloud, gust front, outflow boundary, roll cloud, I like the underbelly of it.

Looking quite ominous on the Hunsanton webcam, with a storm coming into view on the far left.

Sometimes a shelfcloud is not just a shelfcloud... I have seen shelfclouds with a mesocylone on the end... In this case it could be also a wallcloud! A supercell can produce an rfd gustfront and that can interact with the outflow especially in situations with low lcl and rather smaller cells. Hilocs situations normally... high shear low cape. In the pictures i see an updraft and not only downdraft.

A really enjoyable widespread convective period isn’t it. Something we’ve missed out on in recent years.

Lets hope it stays that way through the summer,...but without it being too bloody hot.

Sorry for being so late but this was the Arcus cloud Thunderstorm timelapse from yesterday.

From a cell earlier north of London, Biggleswade. Looks like there's a hail spike indicated on radar? I could be wrong, correct me if so
