Would watch these cells ahead of the main squall for development, if they are able to tap into the strong shear aloft and grow they could bring an enhanced supercell/hail/tornado risk

Bubbling away to my north last 20 ish minutes. They are struggling to gain the height it seems.

had a torrential downpour just now, few distant rumbles to the west. seems to be some fresh cells kicking off again in Wales, hopefully will take on a more easterly direction as they move north.

Unbelievable that this intensified into a proper storm once it hit the North sea lol

Odds on these storms kicking off mostly in the North Sea 😉

I was thinking to myself I can see this being a bust again lol but I’ll give it some more time 😂🤞🏻

That wouldn't surprise me

I remember a few years ago something similar happened when there was so much cape but not enough moisture but it all kicked off out at sea near Norwich way

Not often I’d call a uk supercell from our crappy radar but looks a good get just east of Newcastle and these cells are absolutely flying along 50-60mph?

Awesome, the thunder's been continuous. You might be in for a seriously good storm

Sadly too far south and west for any action here. I can wave to the towers to the east of me as they grow and move away.
