The snow showers are actually making it as far south as Galashiels. Well that’s what the radar saying lol. Definitely coming further than expected.!

There was hints on the models yesterday  from 5pm tonight more showers coming through. Here’s hoping it does.

Yes we had a light snow shower a little while ago. My daughter said that it was slightly heavier over at hers in NE Dundee. Not that often we get more than a flurry on a northerly but we can hope   
Just enough to give her a wee skiff on the ground.

There haven’t been that many showers here today but what has fallen is settling here and the wind is now picking up in the showers too. It’s beginning to feel a lot like winter.

Some "beefier" showers hitting now and settling.  I suspect accumulation will ramp up after dark.

Showers now of snow in Peterhead but no chance of lying as 3.5c.

Slight powdery snow shower on just now. Looking more stormy to the north.Wintering sheep on last shift of fresh grass. Not been any fresh growth since early  December's two nights of -8c so will need to get hay supplement now and neeps if it stays cool or cold.  By cool I mean under 6c as that's roughly where plants start to grow. Wind seems to be getting up a bit making it feel even colder so in stoking stove. Cattle comfy on fresh straw.

Im still hoping for a northerly shift in the winds to bring us more to the Eastern part of the Shire and city but not sure it's going to happen, though the met have more falling overnight and tomorrow  fingers crossed

Currently 2 * here in Glasgow and tiny granules falling . I think we are in for a treat on Tuesday lol.

5 and half hours drive and I’ve arrived in Dalwhinnie. Car says -1.5°C and there’s a fresh dusting of snow. Met office have a snow warning out for every day this week here, let the fun begin.
