Unexpected but nice to see. It was graupel rather than snow. Great photos & videos from those up north!

Nae snaw in Skye, had a teeny dusting a couple of hours ago and that was it. MIght get a bit better during the week, so have stocked up freezer just in case! As well as wine rack, booze cupboard etc, etc. I'm sure ye catch ma drift!

Accumulated snow increasing now, temperature minus 2, slight drifting now too.

Snowy dog walk, and believe me, the video doesn't do justice to how heavy it was. Taken after I'd turned around as the very few exposed bits of my face were getting plastered. Not often I cut short a snowy dog walk.

 

Cleared the driveway when I got back as it'd stopped snowing by then, but measured 6cm before it was cleared.

Aye, the drifting here is getting noticeable.

We must have at least 6 cm level now, but the wind is blowing it around.

Don't have the old sheltered picnic bench(mark) at the new hoose!

We managed a good dusting of snow/graupel from the showers that made it to the central belt. I wasn't in to see it though, a little light snow on the way back up the A77. The snow has half melted on the road and pavements which is now freezing so that'll be an ice rink for the rest of the week now!

Small covering here with light snow and -1.3C. Our north and east fairing better at catching the full tonto showers so far. This afternoon the lovely wee wifeys standing beside me in Grantown bakery were talking about the snow saying “horrible weather!!!”. They were unaware that internally I’m doing a snow dance so that we get 3 feet of the stuff. Took the dog around Loch Mallachie on the way home. Been pretty nice conditions accompanying the sporadic showers.
