 Alderc 2.0 Starting to think the track is going to be a bit more south and west than expected, moving that line nearer to Taunton - Weymouth bringing Exeter just onto the edge of things, which is last thing i want! I've a piece of lab equipment that is not a remotely happy bunny running with serious thunderstorms or brown outs - usual outcome is i'll have to replace it's power board at great expense yet again! So now having to turn everything off and then unplug, frustrating given i'm half way through a 48hr production run! The second i shut everything down of course, the track will promptly move back to Brizzle-Portsmouth!

personally i think more C/S England looks the sweet spot Brighton to Eastborne NW veering WNW.

Down here in Christchurch, the rain is just stating to fizzle out, fairly light wind which maybe offshore going off the direction of low level cloud, opposite to the band of rain. 

It definitely doesn't feel thundery at all, but It felt similar back in September, and that turned out to be the best storm I witnessed in 2023 (in the UK) so who knows.

Gonna be many hours until this lot makes it over the channel. Going to go to sleep in a bit then set an alarm to check on things in the night!

Paris Supercell moving north still away from the mean flow. More likely to hit Kent for now.

Fair bit of convection on satellite around that cell near Ostend. This seems to be moving straight west by the looks of radar.

Elevated storm in the Theta-E plume, may be one to watch for Essex

I'm fairly confident that I won't be able to see much tonight. Tempted to go to bed, but I'll stay up till at least 23:30 to see what happens.
