Candlemas today. Always like Candlemas as it reminds me that spring is around the corner. Maybe we have some more winter to enjoy first though.

very evident in walking around town this morning… the daffodils and snowdrops out everywhere… only just green tips of bulbs evident at home… they’ll be out here in next 7-10 days…

Back after my op; a solid 2 weeks recovery so far and all is good; shame about the weather 😂

9ºC and blustery here; dry at least... For now!

Keeping my eye on the Highlands weather currently as we're up there Sunday 11th for probably 2 weeks... Looks like the chances of snow/cold weather are on the up thankfully!

raul_sbd we’ve just been to sowerbutts… didn’t know they were going to close/change ownership? Have a points card with them…

Glad they’re staying… always try to support local businesses if we can….

Rush2019 a good ground hog day would be opening the curtains and its snowing  then the next day same again and so on. If it started and repeated every day and 6" fell, thats what you'd get every day. No more no less.

Ive posted about candlemas day in separate thread..for me it marks the mid point of winter despite early spring signs. Mid winter in climate terms ie. mid point of coldest part of the year.

A Face like Thunder Not Cumbria M6 lovely.. not clear what you mean?

Its a poor day here, low cloud, light rain and drizzle.. grey and dismal.

Grey and murky after a bright start

Decided to save a few quid and try to fix the Hoover myself earlier...which went well...........(several screws and pieces over?)

Not much sun here, not complaining as not had the drizzle like some.  Felt fit enough for a walk again today, depressing to see the amount of buildings going up left, right and centre, but the signs of Spring cheered me up.  To have some snow would be great.
