It's a reasonable start to the day here, dry with partial cloud cover, 2.5C. Hopefully a chance to dry out a bit today after a miserable few days. At least the drier weather has been timed well for the weekend.

dry and hopefully sunny day

Well that was the forecast when I went to bed. On walking up I see this from the met

I don't see much support from other automated forecasts, hope it's wrong.

A very fine Saturday out there. Bright with bursts of sunshine, little wind, and mild with temp nudging 10 degrees, indeed quite early spring like.

I remember the 13th Feb last year being very springlike, sunny, blue skies and comfortable to sit out. Indeed both last Sat and now this Sat were ok to sit out in.

Im not lulling myself into spring mode though, winter has a habit of showing its face in late Feb and into March following mild winters in the main..

Yes, it's turned out to be a nice Saturday, bright with patchy cloud cover.

Welcome relief from all the rain over the past couple of days. Temps around average if not a shade above, reached 9.1C.

Rush2019 Virtual hugs to you Rush. As you know my mum has cancer and she's due to start treatment soon, it got delayed unfortunately due to her picking up flu and then a chest infection but she's slowly recovering from them now. She's spent time in Christies because of all that trying to get better first and not been out for a few weeks. Really worrying time, just got to keep hoping for the best outcome that's all we can do with anyone going through cancer and their friends and family who love them.

A rare dry day here. Only nice local walk packed. Every conversation with other dog owners started “isn’t it so nice to be out”

If we can’t have snow bring on some more days like this 🙂

Thinking of those on this thread with health issues, personal or supporting people. Hoping for positive outcomes x
