Finally saw a frost this morning. My moaning last night paid off 😂. God we really are scraping the barrel when we are getting giddy over it, shows how rubbish this winter has been.

Rush2019  we have a resident heron keeping an eye on the pond at work

Good to see but the only problem is that there’s no fish in the pondq

Yes, that's the one, from Macc to Marple taking in towns and villages along the way.  11 miles in total.  I did a small section through Poynton out towards Lyme Park, such a cracking day for a walk.

This heron seemed really tame and was unaffected by all the walkers, watched it catch and swallow a second frog whole, it must have some young to feed.  I could have sat and watched it all day.  Didn't realise how big herons are up close, scared me, glad I don't look like a frog. 🤣

Unlike yesterday it’s a frosty start here this morning.

Hopefully another nice day coming up.

Was a chilly night, another frosty start.  Beautiful sunny morning, can see low cloud/fog on the very tops, there won't be much of a view for early morning walkers unfortunately.  Another get out and enjoy day 🙂🌞

Another frosty start today and colder than the previous day, got down to -1.7C. Plenty of sunshine again this morning and looks like being a dry day today. It's been a very decent weekend here.

cheshire snow yep snow to lower levels but accumulations at higher levels.

So yes, it depends on our interpretation of what is high and low level.

Had Worse Yeah that's true, someone living at the coast would probably think 100m is high up but to me it's not as I can miss out on the more marginal stuff at that height where as around your height you can get in on it. A bit like someone 80 yrs old probably thinks a 50 yr old is relatively young but to a 20 yr old a 50 yr old is ancient. Differing interpretations.
