A grim day, no reedeming qualities. Damp dank and dreary, moderate rain at times. Currently very gloomy low cloud. Maxed around 11 degrees, still cool.

Not inspired with the outlook, whilst milder for a bit, alot of cloud still.

One of wettest and dullest first halves to April on the way.. sunshine levels must be exceptionally low for the time of year, by May we reach annual yearly peak.

A bit of a drab day today, overcast and some outbreaks of rain at times. Not the torrents we had yesterday, but another 5.2mm of rainfall to add to the totals.

Relentless rain today in every form that’s above freezing of course 😂just hoping the tentative signs of a change will materialise  as we all need a break from this

Another 6 mm of rain yesterday mainly from some heavy rain near midnight. 81 mm for the month now.
looks like there is a six hour window of warm and sunny weather this afternoon. That's about as good as it's going to get for us it seems.

Is this the light at the end of the tunnel.....Nice and bright this morning, but a touch chilly. Let's hope for a dry few days, we all need it.

Wow a window of dry weather outside, set to be brief, rain later, complete dry days continue to elude us.

It's not quite warm enough today for 'shorts and t-shirt' but even in a jumper it's been nice sat outside on the laptop with intermittent sunshine before the evening rain arrives. A nice respite from the last few weeks with it feeling like the summer temps aren't too far away.

A very nice day. Definitely warm enough for me in shorts and T-shirt. Maximum was 18.2°C. Had quite a lot of sun as well.

I said it was about a six hour window the other day and that's what it ended up as now it's quickly deteriorating. Tomorrow looks alright at least in the south.

It just can’t do it can it. It just CANNOT stay dry. Lashing it down, temp fell to 14C from almost 19.

im sick of it, the outlook isn’t great either. When will it balance itself out in favour of high pressure? It’s just not fair anymore- I’m bored of checking the charts to be disappointed.

it hasn’t stopped raining since last July.

Backtrack Yeah it was okish weather today nothing special just Spring like compared to the pouring rain & chilly temps of recent days. Didn’t last barely half a day till the heavy rain is back though ☔️ , tomorrow/ Saturday are looking ok but cooler more unsettled weather once again into next week.

Was nice a few hours, but nothing noteworthy. Now raining and looks set to rain for a few hours. I'd bet the ranch that this weekend will become much wetter than forecast.

And the rain is back... and it hasn't wasted any time getting heavy.

we can't even have half day dry periods without paying for it afterwards now.

And here was me just about to make the most of the drought conditions by cutting the grass.

still fine at the moment but looking at the radar, i’d be lucky to get it switched on before rain stops play

The dry interlude didn't last, moderate rain outside and another dull drab evening, this is tiring now. Just not feeling 2024 in any way, can we start it again!

A mini drought here today and I thought we would escape with a dry day during daytime hours, but just got clipped with a hefty shower an hour ago.

Still, it's certainly been a much better day than of late with plenty of sunshine this morning, though has been quite cloudy since mid afternoon. A warm feel in the sun, reached 17.6C.
