*Stormforce~beka* Aubrieta can look scraggy out of season, so check for any signs of growth and cut it back above that.

It doesn't like sitting in the wet, so make sure the pot drains well. You normally see it spilling over garden walls. I'm trying to grow some from seed this year, to do just that.

*Waders required to hang bedding on the line!

*Slight exaggeration but it’s back to square one!

My suns football been called off for the third week on the trot now. Only takes a moderate spell of rain like last night to make the pitch unplayable.

Still this morning is now dry and mild and the sun is starting to poke through.

Morning All, another of those a bit of everything days, after early morning soaking, things are brightening up as the cloud breaks. The overnight low of 10.2°C at: 00:00 has made it up to 11.4°C at: 10:28, with RH97% and a light breeze from the SW - WSW.

From Above, signs of decent gaps to the W

On Golden sands, calm.

Crackerjack I know. That's the one that they had put down last month.

More like a helipad. 🚁

All you need is a pot of white paint to complete the "H"

Sunnier than expected this afternoon although the clear blue sky didn’t last long.

Just dropped the OH off at Bristol Free School. Going for a wander and bumped into Darren Jones MP at an ATM, who we knew is doing the opening speech. Had a quick chat. What a nice chap.

Now on the Blaise Castle estate, with a fair bit of blue sky above.

Had some sun now back to cloud. Planting seeds indoors might pop out a bit later.

AWD I know it, got to the point today where I just needed to see some sun so got in the car left Frampton in drizzly spots at 2pm and came to walk the dog on Weston beach. Sunny spells, a tad breezy but glorious afternoon here now which lifted my spirits somewhat today. Currently in dog friendly coffee1 having a well earned Latte before the trek back down the far end of the beach to the car. Bonus - No car park fees today for beach parking yay ☀️

Rich_Clements did my mums Rich Wednesday, same at mums in Yate it was very wet but well drained lawn and like you say it’s looking very scruffy so I set mower on high trim and took a full container load off it, looks lovely now, can even see the miniature Daffs from mums conservatory again dancing in the wind 😊🌼

jtay I know someone who did that with their garden, they got together with neighbours made the farmer an offer and they all got an extra 30 feet to the end of their garden.

We've been asking for 16 years and the estate always said no, but out of the blue they agreed. Four of us did it, gaining just over 500m2 each. It's certainly kept us busy for the last 6 months and will continue to do so.

Nearly finished my Bristol jaunt. Popped into a couple of pubs on the way back to the car, to watch the footie. Just waiting for the OH to finish to chauffeur me home.

Beautiful weather now.

Off tomorrow again, so back to digging.
