Gorgeous! I want to sunbath on your grass!

@jtay @*Stormforce~beka* Can I suggest that before Beka arrives you apply plenty of sawdust, because a slip in any mud could end up as a 3rd party injury claim?

In response to that, I love the rain, weird as it might seem I often go out in the garden when its raining and just stand there to absorb the rainfall.

Only issue I have with so much rainfall this winter the walls and the patio are now all green, so I need to get some algicide and clean them up in readiness for the summer thunderstorms.

To me, if it rains it rains, its just another feature of mother nature.

I wonder if this because the climate might be changing?

Nice to get some sun today, almost unbroken from lunchtime through to this evening. Would have been even nicer without the nagging wind but you can't have everything!

Just pulled up on the drive, looked up, clear skies. Couldn't write it.

Had a few minutes of sun here but that was it. Not many showers either though so at least it was a bit drier.

Showers all day and no sun. Not even April weather as at least you see the sun between the showers. But this is the new normal. Been cloudy for a year now

Grass frost and clear blue skies above at first light.

Plenty of cloud on the Western horizon, ready to roll in and do it's thing for the useful part of the day. ☁️

Well twas a tad cooler last night with the low of 1.3°C at: 06:13, currently 10.0°C, RH84% and a light breeze from the S, with rain showers approaching from the west and more rain due in overnight.

Right, back to the decorating I must go. Cheers

Well the big yellow thingy was trying its best, but it was not overly successful:

Norra lot of yellow stuff today. However the clear liquid has been missing.

Drizzle has arrived, but we're dry wrapped up under the sail.

Just finished my first Saturday job in 29 years. Only next door's grass, but it's a start

Said that to the OH earlier. Will work on it on my own patch and will get back to you.

Anyway... Looks like I've got an unexpected trip to Bristol tomorrow. OH doesn't know how to get to her students' speaking event, so I've got to take her, go for a wander, find a pub to watch United v Liverpool and get driven home. A nice break from digging, at least.

No, next door is about 200 years old. 🙃

They're the bits of field that we bought (us and 3 neighbours), so the grass isn't bad considering. Only got change of use to gardens in November, so we're only just getting started.

More rain this morning. Should clear soon though.

Male sparrowhawk has been sat on the fence for ages... Terrible photo....
