On Golden sands, one of those boring (wait and see) spectator sports taking place by the pier!

Wave, they shouted, so somebody did!

Brightening up somewhat now.  Drizzle has gone and we have white clouds more than grey clouds.  Still generally overcast though.

I wonder if its time for the admin of the site to change the useful links from

Not a bad morning so far, with a nice bit of sun coming in through the (home) office window. I wonder if we can actually manage a dry day...

The Sun is trying to break through here.

Been stuck on calls, but just stepped outside and it felt pretty warm. Hopefully that's me done now. 🏃🏼‍♂️

Off to Arne early-ish tomorrow, so hope it stays nice, as promised. 🌥️

Oh yes we’re now at the time of year when temperatures will max in late afternoon!

Pushing 19c after half an hour of bright sunny spells.

Still overcast along the Kennett Canal, albeit bright overcast if that makes any difference.  Some hazy, clearer patches here & there.  Feels muggy though.

Very impressed  with the accuracy and distance ahead of Weather Warnings.Notified today that very heavy and disruptive snow will occur on 25th November this year, that's nailed on too.

Glad I was elsewhere today where it was quite warm at times during the afternoon. Back home it was much cooler with a cool breeze,

What a beautiful day 😃, summoned up some energy to cut one section  of the lawn.  Little bit of weeding  saw two butterflies 🦋  three ladybirds and lots of snails running for shade 😎.  My friendly Robin was watching me the whole time from the washing line waiting for me to move so he could swoop in on unexpected worms and bugs that I was disturbing.  Tomorrow I hoping to get the hill done while the other half is about just in case I go  a**e  over  t*t . 🫣

nettie Similar here, a couple of butterflies floating around today and a couple of snails coupled together to which I left them to it and merrily dropped them in to the green been to finish things! Some fresh bird food has enticed the robin down to the table, hopefully before the fat b*st*rd pigeons arrive to eat the lot!

Meanwhile the maximum today pushes the high for the year so far up to 17.3°C at: 14:49, still with some high cloud across the area:
