I had work visits in the Peaks, at Tideswell, Newhaven and Biggin, all up at 250 to 300mtres, from 10am to 3pm.

if its hill snow you want then Derbyshire Peaks is just fab for it. Ive been in Cromford with heavy sleet and yet 15 mins later up in the hills I'm came across a tanker lorry buried in 5 to 10 feet drifts, police signs with roads closed.

unreal how much elevation can change conditions, drove back down to Cromford and still sleet !!!

To all, if you don’t expect and then see snowflakes…it’s happy days 😉

It better not fail now, Id be crushed. Har dto believe were on cusp of a 5 to 25cm fall tomorrow.

In december we had 10 to 12cms here, and on the hill tops 15 to 25cm.

A good fall of snow is when the kerbs disappear an dthe snow is level across the road onto the footpaths, heres hoping.

Just on the Midlands TV now, 20 to 25 on the hills, get in there, Matlock, Wirksworth, Ashbourne, Bakewell,

i think Snow in Trent may have a snow surprise, evaporative cooling can be a bonus, plus a bit some elevation, but it  dose'nt all have to be over 200 mtrs

That mild sector is just shifting too far north each time...

This is the most borderline event in living memory..

I just want it to be snowing in the morning! Walking the kids to school in falling snow is brilliant, doing it in lashing sleet is less so!

I’m still kind of thinking I might get a bit tomorrow until late morning as it’s fairly high here but who knows

It seems to be around 3C at the moment which is about 2c lower than what the UKV shows for around now, I wonder if that means much for tomorrow 🤔

You know im a Cat lover, and my best friend has passed, but this...

And in Chilie, Wildfires. These poor cats are lucky to be alive, together with all pets and animals.

An emergency clinic was set up in Santa Juana to treat some of the animals.

I Miss my mate, everyday. Bless the Vets to help them.

Automated forecast continues to decrease the snow risk to just sleety rubbish. Wonderful stuff.
