MattStoke lol, I'm in the same place as you Matt, for various reasons I haven't seen 'proper' snow for about 2 years. After this winter of bitter disappointment, I too have 'trust issues' as you so beautifully put it! What will be will be. I have no expectations this time!

Barely seen a flake this winter let alone anything settle. Absolutely shocking

Got a sleet symbol, worth celebrating.

Just seen a yellow warning go out from the Met Office including my location for tomorrow and thought it might be for snow, but no, you've guessed it rain! 🤣

Looks like a last minute downgrade to 1 hour of sleet 💪🏼

Looks very similar to last time. A few cm above 200m. Little to nothing down here; Just wet snow that doesn't settle.

I may be going to Ludlow on the bus on Saturday, which could be interesting as the A4117 goes up over the side of Titterstone Clee Hill and rises to (from memory) 355m, with views on a good day up almost to the summit (533m). Probably going to be my best chance of seeing snow in daylight this entire winter!

Arctic Hare Met Office have downgraded two hours of heavy snow in the morning to an hour of sleet for me, so another no show with yet more heavy rain and flooding! 😬

I suspect Titterstone Clee Hill may see some temporary lying snow.
