Lovely day today. 18c or so with sunny spells. Shame it won’t last.

In Absence of True Seasons The last easter to fall in March was 2016, quite a while back. Incidentally easter 1991, 2002, and 2013 all happened on the 31 March.

For late March warmth there was 2012. Followed by a flip to cold in April.

The latest easter in recent years was I think 2007 or 2011 both were very warm.

GFS so bad this morning is actually upsetting to look at a would reslut in this March officially being as bad as last March. Looks like the writing is on the way for this month. April maybe not starting again, although we’ve had some limited mildness spring really stuttering into life again it appears.

Can you image how we are all going to feel when the first spell of warm weeks long wall to wall sunshine comes along?
These grey days have just been relentless, hang in their guys and gals….March will be yet another duller and wetter than average month but surely April will finally start to buck this rut we’ve been under for several months, surely

London seems to be one of the few places where the weather is working correctly at the moment 👀

I think we will have to accept that the weather engineers for some of us others are having problems restoring our faulty weather. Either that, or the weather engineers just aren’t doing a good enough job with the repairs.

This is what the Met Office told me would be "largely dry with sunny spells this afternoon"... 😞

Arctic Hare  tell me about it - got a load of washing done on the basis of what BBC had to say - now looking at the radar Im going to be forced into using the tumble drier

Really enjoyed yesterday - hopefully it will tie me over until May when our next chance of settled weather arrives

Sunshine quite hazy but it’s almost t shirt weather outside, lovely. Just a shame it doesn’t look like lasting.

danm Decent morning today in London, hazy sunshine and pleasantly mild, one of the only sunny and Springlike mornings thus far.

Cloud looks to be thickening later on though and tomorrow looks a return to the dross unfortunately.

Its hard to believe this abomination of a March is likely to be in the top 10 warmest ever. It seems no matter how bad the weather is on the ground we can do it with ease these days.

21 days in and 42.8 hours of sunshine so far here.
