    Is there any snow in oldham mumps ,town centre area left from the last fall,a few days ago?.I was there and there was 3-4 inches compared to a cm,in places,wih graupalfrozen on the ground at my destinations beginning,Eccles[47ft asl]Not thinking the right thing at he correct time I arrived ill equipped in of decent footwear. and accurate knowledge of Oldham's geaoraphy

    Olham was nice this morning i had to go to he housing Office[going there from Eccles] i came so ill-equipped for 4 odd inches of snow shoe wise..At homw there aws a covering but thickest on grass ,soili etc but Oldham was a winter wonderland an and beautiful plce.I'm hoping to move to Shaw or Saddlweoth areas ish though anywhere really.

    Yeah,definately..Oldham and surrounding areas are rite bad esspecially Shaw and saddlewerth....where im plannig on re locating.

    Thing is im going to probably go the council/housing association route,I'll be renting and saddlewort looks unlikey as it's ,ive gheard it's posh as hell,.I dont want to live on a bad council estates[some are ok] but i want a nice council place in an areas not too bad area ...and ,ideally the higher the better .Sorry for hijacjking but i idid request pm's

    Oldham dwellers ..i know nothing of the area and i have to move rthere or that area of ast mancs [pref high up though for obvious preferences] .I was wondering on advice because im told some areas are really bad .If any contact could be made for advice on areas that would be welcome.ta

    I came on here at 12 when i noticed wild snow outside ..then saw the radar and realises that i am on the western flank of the stramer.... on well ....more more snow tonight?

    Stopped now but as some have noted ,sticking is not really happening anywhere other than cars and a bit of grass.Apparently lower level air temps are forecast to so i honesly,given enough precip,thinkwe will have a coovering come morn ..here certainly.

    Right ,since no one enlightened me about tonight's prospects I got off my skinny bottom and checked the BBC weather and it looks as if there may be a bit of snow on the way for out region, albeit marginal.What are my learned friends thoughts on the matter?
