I concur, though last winter where I am we had an inch or so at the end of the cold snap in feb.All in all for me this winter is about the same-disappointing.

There's something cool about a gale,the wild feel and the tree tops moving about madly,It is rather cool though I would much rather the cold stay...some frosty,sunny weather would be nice.

No I agree,I want the sun but just for it to stay cold.Some frosty weathere would be nice.

I'm bloody not.I'd much rather have cold over mild despite this constant tease of snow.I just wish we had a greenland high instead of the scandinavian.

No appreciable snow this winter unlike seemingly everywhere else.We here have had a couple of 2cm coverings which lasted not very long and this is so galling when places quite widely have had many inches of the stuff.Currently watching the slow thaw of a very patchy thin snow cover ,ah well,moan over. -
I honestly don't think I would get sick of 6 months of snow in winter as the summer months would be snow free so that would be sufficent absense from it.I would like the more contrasting defined seasonal weather of a more continental climate,lovely.With white snow and frost beautifying the landscape this would be ample medicine for the lack of sun and cold unlike the grey dross of 70% of what we get.

Well,I' m guessing some did rather well from the last batch of snow.As for here in tropical Eccles there was about an inch this morning but now there is about 20 % of that left!Currently the temp is 2.1c and the snow has been near constant all day.

Well ,im off...bloody sick of this,I hope to wake up to a winter wonderland but I'm not too confident as still nothing falling from the sky and nothing on the ground.

That's a p**S take..well,at least someone 's getting something,enjoy it mate. It is just making the ground wet here really,there's a bit of accumalation on the grass and where there's ice.
