  1. This is so annoying ,there is a big strip of very thin slushy ,icy crap from friday which has caught the snow so it is now bright white, showing me what it would look like if this bloody accumalated everywhere.I do hope this gets heavier for all.
  2. Aye,lol... plenty of scallies as we call em round here.
  3. Getting heavier here but flakes very small,I think snizzle is the term coined on here.
  4. Getting a patchy covering on anywhere with ice left from fridays "event".
  5. This snow is just way too light,it will take hours just to get the patchiest of coverings at this rate.
  6. Can see a woman across the strest covering her car with a sheet,I hope she has reason to.
  7. Quite near me at eccles, west mancs.Still light fluff here.
  8. Strarting to get a touch heavier here. This is just going to wet the ground here im sure.
  9. It looks like very light snow here, prelude to the the none event i'm sure. That snow to the south of the region sure has lost intensity and has fragmented.
  10. Yes I noticed this ,with any luck it will carry on.
  11. Aye,much the same here. There is cover away from town but pretty disappointing elsewhere and temperature the wrong side of freezing at 2.4c.
  12. I remember that, got bugger all to right home about then.
  13. So it appears the extreme east of the region gets some stuff tonight though doesn't look too good for west Manchester,ah well good luck people..
  14. Well, not a bit of snow left here now and with the temperature bumping 3c I'm not too sure anything would stick unless heavy..What are the chances of snow in the area?,I have been away from here all day.
  15. Well I suppose generally you could rely on their temps because they will specify the temp for city centres....but ,as you said it does seem like an over estimate if you are at 1.6c now.....I take it the snow has mostly gone now from yesterday.
  16. I always add a degree or so to the bbc temps for my location as without fail it is always warmer......What part of mancs you in?
