I can also remember that last year it kind of back built, it didn't exactly come straight off the north sea. At first it started off how we are seeing it now and then a few showers developed south over the north sea and both clouds kind of connected to make the streamer

humm lol, guess we just have to keep a close eye on this, its the only development so far worth watching out for

haha must have been writing my post when you posted yours, beat you to it!

I have included a picture in this post that helps to illustrate what im currently keeping a close eye on. A thin line of cloud has developed within the last our off the coast of Lydd (no precipitation as of yet), if any convection occurs south of the north sea this has the potential to link up with this line of cloud and develop into a streamer later during the night. Please correct me if im wrong

So higher the humidity the greater the chance of convection?
