  4. Am i right in thinking that if one snow shower develops then that will act like a ripple effect and others will begin development and so on?
  5. The NAE have us down for some snowfall for early Friday morning, anyone else think it looks like a possible streamer... http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000000&CONT=ukuk&MODELL=nae&MODELLTYP=1&BASE=-&VAR=prty&HH=48&ZOOM=0&ARCHIV=0&WMO=&PERIOD=
  6. On the GFS what relative humidity charts are best (300hpa, 850hpa. etc) and which one would help to indicate a rise in chances for a streamer to set up ?

  12. is it me or has there been a little bit of a trend regarding the last two GFS runs for a 'nearly' established northerly and high pressure over Greenland ?
  13. Depending on how far north it moved we could end up with more of an easterly wind with not so mild conditions
  14. Couldn't that high pressure cell move north and possible link up with that higher pressure over Greenland?
  15. I suppose you could say that from the 21st of this month there is at least a very slow gradual cool down of upper air temps
  16. Lets hope that the GFS was a mild outlier at 384 hours lol
  17. Although the models continue to show a fairly mild output i can personally say i feels far from mild here in Folkstone. 6.9c at the moment and we haven't got above 9c for two days now.
