    If we were to have -5 uppers over the whole county for example during December then it would be highly likely that any precipitation would fall as snow/sleet. At this moment in time -5 uppers are shown to affect parts of the country in the next week or so, therefore I don't understand why people are doubting that any precipitation could well fall as snow and affect a large part of the UK??.... That's if what we are seeing at the moment on a range of forecasting models actually materializes. Can anyone shine any light as to why this may be?? I'm still learning so be nice
