  1. Here in Folkestone temps have increased 1c in the last hour.. currently -0.5 and rising.. will this continue??
  2. What's tomorrow looking like. Chance of more snow in the SouthEast?...
  3. What are the chances of further snowfall for the southeast tomorrow?? Heard over on the model thread that the low for tomorrow seems slightly further south... Could this guarantee further snowfall for kent?
  4. Looks as though the NAE could have picked up a small streamer even for those in east Kent this eve... http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&CONT=ukuk&MODELL=nae&MODELLTYP=1&VAR=prty&WMO=&ZOOM=0&RES=0&PERIOD=&PANEL=0&ARCHIV=0&BASE=201301161800%26HH%3D12
  5. Does the front actually stall over the southeast and then slide away to the south?
  6. Are the showers in the north sea likely to edge any nearer to the coast in the SE?
  7. Will the sun help to pep up the showers in East Kent today helping them to keep their intensity and not to die as fast as they reach land?
  8. Showers getting much closer to the extreme SE coastline!
  9. Check this webcam out if you have time, just about to see the snow start to fall here in London. http://www.abbeyroad.com/crossing
  10. Im pretty worried because at the moment here in Folkestone the temp is 2.2c
  11. Below is a link to the latest Met office FAX charts updated at & 7:30 this morning. Do these FAX charts show the initial surge of cold air further east or actually further west?? http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/surface_pressure.html
  12. If we were to have -5 uppers over the whole county for example during December then it would be highly likely that any precipitation would fall as snow/sleet. At this moment in time -5 uppers are shown to affect parts of the country in the next week or so, therefore I don't understand why people are doubting that any precipitation could well fall as snow and affect a large part of the UK??.... That's if what we are seeing at the moment on a range of forecasting models actually materializes. Can anyone shine any light as to why this may be?? I'm still learning so be nice
  13. Couple of tweets from some 'weather experts'.... il let you judge their credibility From Joe laminate floori, "Much of Europe to turn cold for November too. N Hemisphere in for a wild winter this year. Global warming will turn to climate change". From Matt Hugo, "Interesting update from the EUROSIP seasonal model combining the UKMO ECMWF & MeteoFrance which supports a blocked/potentially colder winter"
  14. Are there any sat images which measure the cloud height and coolness ?
