  1. Satellite now beginning to darken somewhat over the Atlantic
  2. Surface winds are offshore ahead of the precip. Temps looks just favourable for most IMO. The lightest precip may fall as rain. But a snow event looks most likely away from coastal fringes.
  3. Very interesting few hours ahead! Can imagine some very worried people at the moment.. Potential for a disastrous commute for Greater London.
  4. A dusting of snow in central London and currently light snow
  5. Not looking good for central London again, I have brought my snow shield. Looks good further west.
  6. eastern side of band losing a bit of intensity but west side keeping it, Band actually looks to be building eastwards and tracking S
  7. Radar beginning to pick up now in Norfolk. Think things looks quite positive for a fall of snow for London going on last few frames. Say in 2hrs time? Maybe
  8. This thing is teasing London, should hopefully move down soon, but wouldn't be surprised to see it remain and slide south-east just the east.
  9. Looks like London centre is a touch too far south... could be stuck on the south side of this band as it slides southeast.
  10. Must be a little bit milder here than earlier as light sleet falling here in central London
  11. A very tasty looking chart.. Potential for 4 hours of Mod Snow
  12. WRF would give London several centimetres of lying snow!
  13. Precip has really intensified elsewhere, some spots could have a covering in next hour or so. But not me!
  14. The precip is likely to move towards this region around 2am
  15. As Paul alluded too, these features can be very interesting. I think some lucky spot is going see >15cms early tomorrow.
  16. Something developing east of Crawley headed for London, perhaps a snow shower possible? -- Edit, only just realised temperature still isn't low enough! Just drizzle!
  17. Models having all sorts of trouble dealing with this precip. A nightmare forecast.
  18. First bit of wind I've really heard in London tonight, seems more than a 30mph gust!
