  7. Hi all. Been very busy of late.... Anyway regarding " Practising face palm techniques " The last few weeks there's been plenty of that going on, I have been popping in from time to time and have been keeping an eye on the models, But just run after run of .....Crap, Boring, Zonal, Mild, Muck . But looking at the models this morning around the Xmas-Newyear holiday period things certainly look Wintery! I'm not going to say too much its far too soon, But there's Hints that things are on the change and with jet looking to go further south (more all less on every run) it could change quite quickly for the better . Mmmmm.... I wonder
  8. NASA/GEOS Europe at 120h, Still a little spaced out i think.
  9. IrememberAtlantic252, on 02 Dec 2013 - 20:14, said: yeah, but ECM model was way off even with this northerly, when in FI, GFS was closest all along, nearly every run showing quick blast then westerlies on Saturday ECM was modelling fantasy snowfests All models are not perfect that's certain and some are better that others but you can never say one is always better or worse that another. But saying that the ECM was showing a snow fest ( and yes they were great to see) But also other models were, Including the GFS was as well. If this isn't a snowfest what is? Also when saying ..."when in FI, GFS was closest all along, nearly every run showing quick blast then westerlies" .........You have a short memory or maybe just selective methinks.
  10. Remember at Xmas my mother loving Fry's Turkish Delight.....That was full of... Eastern promise.
  11. That's what you'll be saying to the so called (man in a van)........ Make it So!!.. Good luck
  12. Now that would be nice (within 72 hours) but that does happen (rare i must add) , But only when cold air is in place and on approach a system stalls dropping a lot more than we were expecting. Chin up anyway! Plenty more days left in this winter yet And looking at FI Yes i'm sure our imaginations will be running wild if the other models start showing Eastern promise, But me! Nah not yet, I'm keeping that at bay atm Would'nt give up on seeing snow just yet How many times we've retired for the night and woke up to winter
  13. I'll ramp with ya!...... (-1.1c) what's the chances of it staying that way
  14. I know ramping already, But i could'nt help myself looking at the precipitation/temp charts....Glass always half full that's me Then streamers 'R US' come Firday Hopefully a little more towards the east! Looking like an ice day come Friday and with that bitter northerly, balaclavas at the ready folks Welcome winter
