Yes I’m thinking the same, if we can get that wind direction to a nw instead of straight north we could be in business, you don’t need a strong wind at all just a flow lol. you never no we might get a few flakes blowing around tonight

Why? it will of all changed again by the time we all start work. the models are all over the place, so different to how they where looking a day or so ago so and will change dramatically again in another day

Imo a northerly never really produces the goods unless you’re on the coast or in Scotland so nothing new just disappointing. The only way we get anything coming inland is if the wind is more ne or nw then you get the streamers etc

Yes it’s going to be cold if not very cold but if it’s as dry as currently shown then what a waste of all this cold I’d rather it be mild if it’s just dry dry dry. my question as I can’t remember the lead up too well but I’m sure the 2010 set up was looking dry too or is it wishful thinking? im sure disturbances will set up in the flow but don’t like all this dry talk like

Everyone from the midlands north I agree it’s annoying but I find the south annoying too. Where classes as the south? anyway yes it’s going to turn much colder and a decent chance of snow that lasts longer than a few hours of slush

You no what’s driving me mad in here, the constant taking every single model run as gospel! It’s all about tends, it’s not like let’s look out of the window in 5 days time and ( oh it’s not snowing! But so and do model said it would be) get a grip lol. It’s going to turn much colder with an unstable north easterly wind!! What more do us cold freaks want in early December? There will be snow around at different times next week GUARANTEED. No model can say where and when even just a few days out. relax and enjoy the trends people

The likes of this will be different in the next run in some way so let’s not get worried about frozen fish in the sea just yet, this is ONE of the best positions we have been in coming into December so just enjoy the countdown instead of every single model run which is so inconsistent in finer detail

Have to say it’s hard not to get a tad excited when looking at current charts/models etc. I know we have been burnt many times before but this just seems different to me. More like 2010 as in everything seems to be counting down and not constantly getting pushed back. still feet firmly on the ground for now but with the way things are looking currently it would be sooo harsh for all this to disappear into the wilderness. remember the trend is your friend not every single model run every few hours. onto the 06z then we go One more thing before I go. Common England and common wales ️

What’s mad is we are not even into December yet and looking at decent charts and not just the odd rogue one in fi! I have a pretty good feeling about this coming winter especially earlier on in the winter. I tell you what’s even madder (how the hell are you only 15?) very knowledgeable and obviously very interested in the weather, keep it up you will go a long way I’m sure
