Muggy and wet. Not my favourite type of day. I'm obviously very interested in next Saturday's weather over Dublin 3! Looking cool and lots of showers maybe some more organised bands of rain too... Way too far away to say, but not too promising so far!
Indeed, have been keeping a watchful eye on this. Could be the first Autumnal storm of any meaning. Path and strength all up for grabs at this juncture of course!

Good grief... Rain falling too, but only spits. I can feel thunder coming in my skin, but it's not on any radar I look at! Recorded a 29.9 today, a record for my home! Amazing!
Not liking the look of the long range models at all! I'm heading down to Kerry next week for a 10 day camping holiday... Although, the Azores ridge does look like pushing up into the south west from time to time... Not what I wanted to see!
Just stunning weather here on the east coast the last few days... Glorious! The sad part about it is that it usually signifies a really crap rest of summer!!!
Sorry I haven't been in touch here much lately, my life just went into overdrive a few months back, but we're coming out the far side now!!! Great to be back!
I think we will see heights pushing up mid Atlantic into Greenland as this run progresses from here into deep fairytale land! Look at the low, mid Atlantic, as it crosses, there is no energy coming up behind it... We'll know more very soon!
Generally, if the east coast USA goes into the freezer, we get strong Atlantic lows targeted at us via rapid cyclogenesis. It would be rather unusual if we could get sustained blocking in Greenland from that sort of pattern.
