  1. I did away with leather years ago, textiles for me but I feel your pain. Currently 33.6°c here with a light breeze.
  2. What's going on down in Sandown? Most people seem to be wearing coats http://www.mycampage.com/sandownisleofwightcam
  3. Interesting .. You CAN hear Lightning, but can you SEE thunder?
  4. Speaking of clouds, Hopefully next week might produce some pileus clouds. I've only ever seen one and that was a few years back!
  5. I think the temps levelled off now at 28.4°c, not too shabby and fairly comfortable with the low humidity and breeze
  6. 27.8°c here in Bas, a nice breeze keeping the humidity down, currently 37%. Not too keen on the heat forecast for next week though
  7. It's Beer 'O'Clock, goodnight all, I hope the next time we meet we have a real blast!
  8. Damn! I thought I heard thunder but it was a bloody Ryanair jet!!!!
  9. We could be neighbours! I'm starting to think it's game over for us. Steady rain and the temperature has fallen by quite a bit!
  10. Welcome to the forum. Where in Bas are you? I'm in SS16. With any luck we might get a few imports tonight.
  11. Lightningmaps.org has been unreliable for hours, best try Blitzortung.org
  12. Seems to be passing to the East. Blows away the theory that these storms are moving NW, more like NNW or N and backbuilding as they develop.
  13. Thunder in Basildon but all I can see is a murky grey sky??
  14. I beg to differ, that might be the case for the SW but have a look at the general direction between Kent and Lincolnshire.
  15. I predict this track for the storm coming into Kent, what do others think? If it survives it could form into a monster or then again just turn out to be a damp squib
  16. I'm predicting the storms track as below, intensifying as it moves in a Northerly direction.
  17. Yes it seems to be struggling today, maybe due to the amount of users logged in. Try this instead, not as accurate but better than nothing! http://www.blitzortung.org/Webpages/index.php?lang=en&page_0=12
  18. Strikes being observed now approaching Kent over the channel
