Evening all, what a night! Still around 11 inch level snow here and drifts 4/5 foot on places, there was a little snow melt during the day with clear blue skys and a real alpine feel.. Not been able to get out as all the single track lanes are still blocked to get onto the main roads. Temps realy dropping now.. There about a foot drifted on mt North facing roof of the bungalow, not looking forward to that sliding off.. Temp currently -6c Expecting temps to drop to -9/10..

Life threatening conditions here, if out stranded, many cars stuck and will be overnight Main roads like A515 impassable never mind the local lanes where I live which are completely blocked by drifting snow and near zero visibility.
