    Great Model viewing this evening.. With as good as a split PV leaving a huge chunk over the Eastern side of the N/H. Just imagine if that retrogressed..

    Walking up at Minninglow and it's currently sleet with a raw wind.

    Certainly a raw feel today in a stiff N/E breeze, temp 4c but feeling much cooler.

    Tue/We'd still of interest for the North and a deep Low spins in off the Atlantic, Gales heavy rain/snow and blizzards for some in the Highlands.

    I like the look of the 6z GFS, A PM flow of very cold unstable air filtering down off Greenland from the the N/W aided by a very strong Jet Stream over the UK. Gales/rain/snow and blizzards for the North and high ground if these charts are correct..

    Looking nice now out, I'm in on safa with dogs as full of some form of cold.. Temp currently 0c Looks like the fog is starting to rise back over me now.

    Another warning out for freezing fog tonight from the Meto.

    Fog has dropped into the Valleys below now, A lovely crisp Winters day everything white over with frost and temp still -3c on the Davis.

    Sun is just starting to break through the fog here now.

    Currently thick freezing fog here with v low vis, everything is white and frozen solid with still around 50% snow cover. Temp -5c

    Another light snow shower passing here now. Most have missed me off the Irish Sea as they are dropping to my South. But I've noticed on the radar showers popping up over Preston so they should be in my fireing line if they don't fizzle out. A new ice warning is out from the Meto for our region untill tomorrow..
