  10. Do Meto issue the wording for the warning areas or just the warning areas and times Phil? Both wordings for the warning areas differ between the Meto and BBC.
  11. I will stand corrected if that's the case, but how strange they differ so much. The wording is different, but the warning area is the same from Meto.
  12. As the Low is now passing over wind will turn Northerly bringing a better chance of snow for them that have missed out, especially over the Midlands, those in the Amber will see heavy snow and blizzards throughout the night. We are only half an hour into the Amber warning... Moderate Heavy snow all day here, a lull as the centre of the Low is now passing over with just snizzle currently, But conditions will start to rapidly deterioate over the next few hours..
  13. The centre of the Low is passing over now giving that S/W wind, Then winds will turn more Northerly with heavy snow and blizzards this evening and overnight into tomorrow morning for those in the Amber warning. Warnings may possibly get extended into the Midlands...
  14. Winds starting to turn more Easterly now, blowing the heavy snow. They will swing to the North later as the low exits and wraps round, bringing colder air with it.
