Just had an hour in the local park with my 7 year old and almost 2 years old. I don’t know how some people don’t like snow!! Days like these are what dreams are made of! Isle of Wight watch - still moderately snowing in Newport.

Medium flakes on the Isle of Wight and how persistent! I do have a dilemma though I suffer from a bad neck and had surgery last year - do you all think it would be sensible to keep my head at an angle looking out the window??- sod the doctors advice!’

Finally got the boy home safely now to enjoy the snow with him!! still not to heavy but starting to get a covering.

Don't be too down yet, we will be getting some more prolonged and heavier Snow. If you look at the netweather V7 radar (Only extra subscribers can view though) it is looking very promising - the main event is not due to start for us until around 5-6 pm so don't be too down heartened!!
