That chart has so many problems it's difficult to know where to begin....
...for starters Randy Mann has got to be a made up name
edit: i stand corrected, scroogle say he's legit, lol

That was a fantastic backbuilding system between 17.30-18.45, if you put BA12/BA13 in the NW radar postcode zoom
you can see how it backbuilt rapidly. No overhead thunder in Warminster but heard some rumbles in the distance and
observed the disturbed, turbulent sky with outflowing low cloud before the backbuilding caused it to downpour here.
heres a pic around 18.20, the faint hill in the background in the centre has the Westbury White Horse

Hey all. New member here!
I'm not a forecaster, nor do I know much about forecasting, I just love extreme and lively weather.
From reading this forum topic, it doesn't sound like this winter, here in Bristol, will be anything like last winter. Had the best snowfall for as long as I can remember.
From what I gather, this winter, here In Bristol, is going to start dry and chilly, but not excessively cold. There will be milder interludes to the south west, which will stop temperatures dropping away to much, unlike more northern and eastern parts. Therefore, no significant snowfall is expected. When its cold, its going to be dry, and when its wet, temperatures will be just a little to high for snow.
Am I reading it correctly or can anyone get my hopes up for more snow?
Cheers
live close(ish), I agree we're always lucky if we do get anything but that just makes it more exciting when it doesl!!
love crispy fresh mornings myself with no cold wind, not being picky or anythning..........!

These are the best synoptics I have ever seen for November. The consistency aswell is remarkable, I cannot see how this can be averted. I see a extreme and prolonged cold spell form Friday 26th onwards, causing widespread Heavy Snow.
crikey, sounds very interesting. can enyone enlighten on how sea level pressure effects our weather?
