Lovely day out now. Didn't take long for last nights snow to melt. If there is any snow tonight then it will melt quickly tomorrow away from high ground.

Looking forward to this now!Neiller actually looking forward to a bit of high pressure as I've loads of work to do around the new house and want to do a bit of hiking inthe hills where there will be plenty of snow.

Well that big lump of precip started snowing on the radar late last night. Took to about 3 this morning to hit here and it's been snowing ever since. Lightly but definitely nice to see. Maybe a couple of cms here. It's the slowest moving precip I've ever seen. Lol

Lol suppose you can never have enough snow. This precip that's coming in.now is tracking east of me so hopefully the the bigger blob hits me bang on. Lol. Everything frozen solid out tonight!

I'd be happy with a few cms. Lol. Can't really complain as I think most of us have seen snow over the past week or 2. Not epic amounts but enough.

Sounds great! I'm hoping to go a bit of a hike later in the week once the high pressure kicks in. Still watching this bit of precip to the north on the radar heading in the Derry direction. They look pretty beefy and slow moving. A dusting at the most probably.

Definitely is a great cold spell. Little bit of snow on the ground to. Few wee showers popping up on the radar to. Seem to just form out of nowhere. Would be nice to get another wee dusting tonight.

Snow showers off and on all day here. First ice day in a while! Still looking good for Tuesday.

Neiller models have stuck to their guns ref Tuesdays snow the last 3 runs and 06z has prolonged the snow slightly. At 40 hours out I would say this is nailed but I certainly agree with MS in any this could be the last snow for quite a while!!

By the looks of things nothing has really changed for Tuesdays snow. If we are still seeing this come the 12z today then it's game on And if the precip charts are to be believed then we should see a good 12 hours of snow. Here's hoping anyway.

Bit of a dusting here tonight but it's mostly hail. The last shower was of snow. Would be nice if the showers continued through the night.

Latest precip charts still looking of for Tuesday morning but not expecting much unless there are upgrades. Looks very short lived!

Have to say Met Eirrean have been spot on lately. I never really rated them before. Only thing is their forecasters need to sort their personalities out. Lol.

Pretty uninspired by the weather this week. It's been a load of crap to be honest and no real snow to talk about. In saying that, some areas have done really well. Sparky with regards to Monday I'm still hopeful. It's only one run but if the downgrade still there tomorrow morning then i'll believe it.

Just got real squally here with heavy hail and snow mixed in! Really hoping Monday brings something decent as it could be our last chance for a while. Not expecting much over the weekend but you just never know.

So other than some snow/wintry showers over the weekend all eyes on developments for Monday night. Could best the best Chance so far this winter for widespread snow.
