It really is the slowest ever front! Been keeping an eye today and it hasn't moved much at all.

Pretty wild out there today. Loving this weather that we are getting. It's amazing the amount of snow on the ground yesterday and now all gone but the forecast is looking good. With regards to the model thread, some people in there really need to get a grip of themselves in there. I think expectations are just being set to high!

Sperrin it's unreal! Starting to think that this will go down in the history books a great snow event! If it keeps snowing then parts of Derry/Donegal could be looking at 40cms come day break!

What can I say! Unreal conditions here tonight! 09/10 was cold but nothing compared to what we have in Derry over the past 24 hours! Nearly 9 inches of level snow and well over a foot in spots! As i type it's absolute whiteout conditions outside with heavy snow continuing! I would take this any day compared to anything from the east! It's mad to think this is all coming in from the south West but being sourced all the way from north east Canada! Truly remarkable and well worth doing an all nighter last night and tonight. Lol. Lol sorry BFS. It's bad the way the weather affects things! The whole of Derry is just gridlocked! Definitely more snow than anticipated here and maybe more to come!
