  1. Again this is one run. Still plenty of time for change with regards to the right and wrong side of marginal.
  2. Just have to LOL at some people in the model thread!
  3. Lol just release your inner child. My last snowfall didn't stick around long but if we see snow this week then it could stick around quite a while.
  4. Oh I will buddy. To be honest I was more than happy with what we got the.last time. It was more or less 24 hours of snow. This is looking better though!
  5. Could be a countrywide event but NW probably getting pasted! IMBY! Lol
  6. Definitely think the Met are being conservative with their estimates. Put it this way if the current charts keep showing then fully expect amber warnings to be issued!
  7. Yeah Neiller come in and join us. Pm'd you there Neiller.
  8. Andy welcome to the Ireland thread. I reckon we will be snowed in for a week. Lol. Really looking forward to the 12z's today!
  9. Well another set of great charts this morning! My confidence has grown and I feel some areas could see something substantial. Great to see warnings 4 days out. Cheers for the input MS.
  10. Seriously people it's one run!! Most people dodge the 18z anyway! You all know that I'm always optimistic and as I said give it to Monday then worry if there are downgrades for Wednesday/Thursday. Until then enjoy the ride! Some people in the model thread really does wind me up! Lol. It's all to play for!
  11. Looking better already!! This by Wednesday!!
  12. By the looks of thing you might not have to lie about being snowed in. Lol
  13. Yeah Daniel I have to say that the timing couldn't be better with this. I'm sure it is more or less nailed bit can't help being over cautious with the let downs we have had in the past.
  14. Really looking forward to todays 12z. Should be good viewing. If we are still seeing these charts come Monday then i think its fair to say that this will be nailed on. Would love to hear MS's thoughts.
  15. This has to be the best post of the winter so far!! Lol. Quality stuff! personally I have seen enough evidence to really not care either way as IMBY I won't see snowfall from anything other than an Easterly, if you live along the East Coast of England then I'd be getting excited about this, if you're in N.ireland I'd be getting my snow shovels ready
  16. I've just had a look at the precip charts again and they look even better today with snow right out to the end of the run! I know we should take these with a pinch of salt but we can't ignore them either. Lol. Really looking forward to seeing how this develops now!
  17. Lol.Not to often we hear of people getting fed up with snow. Well prepare yourself for plenty more if the models are telling the right storey.
  18. Nice one Pom. Love wee surprises like that! Models still looking great this morning. Hopefully we don't see many downgrades. It looks like a classic northerly setting up with potentially something very cold and wintry setting in as we head in to February.
  19. Last couple of showers here have been snow but just rattling through on a real gusty wind!
  20. Send me up some Gaz or i'll pick it up on my way to Cushendun on Sunday. Lol
  21. Pom I've had a cold the past 3 weeks but the flu hit me big time this week. I'm off the smokes 3 weeks to after 15 years and crabit as hell. Lol
  22. Been lurking the past week as i've been struck by the worst man flu that i've ever had! Not good. Anyways its good to see that we could have another cold shot incoming next week. Here's hoping anyway. As mentioned above we haven't had a decent northerly in a long time so would be nice to see one. There wasn't a drop of snow showing in the 06z then completely flipped on the 12z. Lets hope the trend continues.
  23. Definitely looks like this won't even reach Derry. Ag well maybe get a slight dusting at some stage overnight.
