  1. And your point is?? My point was that i never usually post in the model thread until today! So?
  2. Its all been moved to the moans thread now. Lol. I certainly enjoyed the likes bumping up on my post even though i never post in the model thread. Ha
  3. Cheers Bob. I have been tempted to do it for a while! Only man in there that really sticks up for himself and posts what he feels is Frosty and he gets plenty of stick!
  4. Well it was a popular post and hasn't been deleted yet so a popular valid point. Lol
  5. Its from NI Weather. I posted in the model thread there. Knocker was the first to jump at me and say that its not southern biased in there. Lol!
  6. Not getting into a slagging match but this proves my point to a certain extent?
  7. Maybe time to create a "Midlands North" model output discussion thread? Really is getting quite tedious and off putting coming in here to check the model output due to the southern bias and a few posts above have really just proved this!
  8. Wouldn't exactly say that it has downgraded! Lol
  9. Jeez Neiller you do like a good old moan. Lol. It really isn't the end of the world you know. Who cares about the storms? Its what come after the storms is of interest to me. Also in my opinion this winter is nothing compared to last. Fair enough no real lying snow but it has been cold enough with several frosts. We live on the edge of the Atlantic so unfortunately just just have to take what's given to us. I do feel a cold end of the month is in store and possibly a snowy Feb. Sure thats a normal Irish winter going on past years.
  10. I reckon the snow chances for us has increased on the pub run for around the 13th onwards. Especially here in the north west. Probably why the model thread is quiet enough. As ever more runs needed but i have a feeling something is on the way. Well no harm in a bit of wishful thinking. Lol
  11. I know that bud. Just to trying and liven things up a bit. Lol. After the last couple of months i think we have all learned to take things with a pinch of salt. All we can do is clutch at straws.
  12. I take this please. With a flake and sprinkles on top to.
  13. Anytime there is a hint of anything cold then he's on it! He's a joke to be honest!
  14. He's at it again!...... http://www.irishmirror.ie/news/irish-news/irish-weather-arctic-conditions-bring-4917588
  15. Happy New Year all. Nursing a wee hangover today. Not good. Lol
  16. What a night! We are definitely in the freezer! Everything frozen solid the past 2 days especially tonight! Finished work and Derry City centre like an ice rink! Bodies flying everywhere. Comedy gold. Lol.
  17. Looking like temps could drop to -6/-7 tonight. Probably aided by the fact that the frost hasn't lifted here all day! Had a lovely drive up over the Glenshane today with an inch or so on the top!
  18. Thanks for that Neiller. Thats the reason i refuse to go in there. Really wish they would start a model output thread for the Midlands North! Really would make things so much easier. I'm happy with the odd PM shot even if it is a day or 2 of snow
  19. What a cracking morning. Cold and sunny! Can someone give me a quick run down on what's happening with the models. Got fed up reading the crap in the model thread so i'm refusing to go in there. Lol
  20. Roads are seriously bad tonight!! Drove from Derry to Antrim and seen 2 crashes. One on the Toome bypass seemed bad enough! Roads have been gritted but still bad!
  21. Northern Ireland Weather 2 mins · A Yellow FLASH Warning of Snow has been issued for parts of Northern Ireland (See Map) Frequent and at times heavy snow showers have been affecting parts of NI from this morning, these are likely to continue throughout this afternoon and into the evening, giving accumulations of several centimetres, especially on the hills but even to low levels. Later as showers clear temperatures will drop quickly and widespread ice will form, leading to hazardous travelling conditions and the public are advised to take extra care.
  22. Finally seeing a few flakes of snow! Its been a long time coming! Have to head to the International airport later so hopefully see some snow up towards the Glenshane.
  23. I would love to see even one flake!! Lol! Actually forget how snow looks!
  24. To my eyes it will mean the end of the high pressure making it sink south unless the low undercuts which is very doubtful. If that low do undercut then it would be a snow fest somewhere! Something tells me that come Monday/Tuesday then that low will look nothing like that. Lol. Anyways back to tonight/tomorrow there could be a chance for some areas seeing snow! Its certainly cold enough with ice already on the cars.
  25. Nice one storm! Great to hear!
