    Mike, could see a towering cumulus cloud to my west which gave a light shower, though it may have been the edge of a heavier shower towards Liverpool way.

    Not shure if I should post this in the other convective thread, but in the last hour skies have cleared and the temperature is rocketing. As soon as you walk out the heat just hits you! Feeling so humid and tropical out there. If there was ever a time it felt thundery, this is it! Btw, weren't the 2 convective threads going to be merged so we don't have to keep switching between them'?

    warm and mostly sunny here no sea breeze. The temp is rising like a helium balloon on drugs! Currently 23.1c was 22.4c 2 minutes ago. Feeling very humid already and i'm hopeful for some thunder this afternoon/evening.

    lovely and sunny here with no sign of the rain. Has it stalled further north than expected then? May be I could be in for a shout for at least some heavy showers then.

    Tim Could you tell me where you can get strike alert from and how it alerts you? I'd be interested if it gave the heading and distance of the strikes. Thanks.
