  1. Lack of comments on the UKmo must be making me look silly but that 144h looks very snowy to me...
  2. Ukmo is very nice at 144h or not...Looks better then the GFS at that timeframe..is that a shortwave north of England ??
  3. I have seen a picture on Facebook of some snow on the road. Don't look much though....
  4. White out here. Everything covered. More hail though I must admit
  5. Heavy snow shower. Beautiful in the wind gave a temp dusting before thawing on the roads.
  6. dunno about you lot but weekend might get interesting... I will be keeping a eye on developments over the coming days with the slider.
  7. Don't need -12 uppers to get ice days like in Jan. So similar is well... GEFS ens are very good is well throughout with not many mild runs.
  8. disagree -12 uppers waiting out in the end. -8 uppers over us by 168h. Great run
  9. snow in south and west of England on this run to. Lovely slider/undercut
  10. Can't see it being modelled correct for a few days yet. Gem after checking supports the GFS at the moment With the less cold uppers. We will see
  11. Yh but at least the trend with the minors like the Gem are on board until a big low comes and and pushes the block out of the way...mmmm. Still wants to go for another mid Atlantic ridge thereafter.
  12. The GEM is also a massive improvement which is good/ further west
  13. Nice end to the run on the GFS. UKmo very good. Looking good
  14. By the end of 2013 I hope to hear its been another crazy year weather wise for an extreme cold and snowy February and March ESP in the South West and a hot dry summer. Scorcher of a year.
  15. Met office do offer a wintry mix on Tuesday in my local area. Looks a cold week ahead with ECM taking it to the next level which is good to see.
  16. Maybe a chance of back edge Snow Friday night into Saturday I hear In the model output. Haven't kept up with it for a few days but looking like then winds tonight are the 'headline' esp for Ireland. Looks one angry Atlantic for being held back.
