  1. It's slightly more north then was shown this morning, most of this region will just see cold rain/bit of sleet http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/euro4/2014/12/26/basis12/ukuk/prty/14122700_2612.gif
  2. Yeah in fantasy land, out to the far reach's of what it's worth taking much notice of a single run ... It is back to square one with HP sat back over the UK in the 5 day range.
  3. No comments on the gfs so far tells you all you need to know After a brief North westerly it is back to square one http://modeles.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/runs/2013112618/gfsnh-0-144.png?18
  4. Fantasy land is about 72h atm http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/ecmwf/runs/2013111912/ECH1-72.GIF?19-0 All models struggle with blocking, And IMO thats a great chart for cold @ 72h and not 144+ in lala land Once the northerly has passed through and high pressure takes over it is any ones guess what will happen next week.
  5. Westerly flow? I'm sure I am looking at different charts to what most are half the time. http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Reem2161.gif
  6. It's slowly moving NW through the evening/night and fizzling out. Cant see where the talk of it moving south has come from?? Been snowing here for 15+ hours now, about 10cm or so where there was little thaw during the day.
  7. Its clearly going to be wrong its 1.5C here and raining an hour or snow of wet snow if your lucky
  8. And I am under yellow, slight orange and nothing just a few flakes in the wind, its useless
  9. Cant see much for this region still. Watch it pull WNW as the front tilts and fades on its Eastern edge
  10. Looks mainly dry with the odd flurry for most, Risk of something more persistent in the far West of the region http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/nae/2013/01/22/basis06/ukuk/prty/13012306_2206.gif
  11. Indeed, the North East are going to get it once it moves further North and gets pushed more Westward by the easterly flow http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/nae/2013/01/20/basis12/nweu/prec/13012109_2012.gif
  12. It's Going to how it was forecast http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/nae/2013/01/20/basis12/nweu/prec/13012018_2012.gif thats for 6pm Will clear north slowly through the rest of the evening http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/nae/2013/01/20/basis12/nweu/prec/13012021_2012.gif
  13. Check out radar to NAE has handled this snow event very well so far IMO, Quite a bit more snow to come for parts of the South East and East Anglia, The prcip band will tilt as winds swing round to the SE then E. And the snow will slowly move nw along it this evening and tonight, fizzling out in to the morning,
  14. Was never much due in Essex till this evening/overnight ?? http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/nae/2013/01/18/basis12/nweu/prty/13011900_1812.gif http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/nae/2013/01/18/basis12/nweu/prty/13011906_1812.gif
  15. Up to T144 yes http://en.vedur.is/weather/shipping/atlantic/#type=prec
  16. The band of prcip up to the Northwest of Scotland yes, Maybe a dusting for some overnight as the 1st occlusion moves South East and dies out. Main risk of snow is Monday afternoon/evening My guess is 2-5 cm, widely, and 8-10cm locally
