  1. We could always start our own new SE thread like the old one using the create new topic lol... ?
  2. Just been outside and there is a thin cloud layer coming across here in Kent near maidstone. Hopefully it will lead to something later in the night. 0 degrees as well at mo. ?
  3. All the best TomSE12 This warning has been issued by kent Search and rescue...
  4. Make the most of this today and tomorrow in the moddel discussion thread because these are the charts we've been hoping for for many years on Net Weather. We may not see these charts verify again for decade's... After tomorrow I'm guessing most people will be in the regional threads. It's been along time coming and we've all been through a lot of ups and downs.... manly downs but now we're finally there.. It's all been worth it though.. Big thanks to Net Weather by the way ?
  5. I would say maybe less cold but not a breakdown.... and even then just temporary less cold for a day maybe. That's one MEGA big cold pool that will not be pushed away anytime soon.. .
  6. ECM looking amazing... can i just ask that if the high eventually moved to Greenland then would places inland and down south still get snow from that set up? Would it be different to our typical Northerlies where you tend to get the wishbone affect on the coasts? Thanks anyone.. ?
  7. Yep, just watched BBC 21:25 weather... next week he said " bitterly cold with Heavy Snow" F.F.Tastic ☺☺☺☺
  8. I have to be honest, i was scared to look on here this morning..... looking through my fingers lol... ?
  9. So this is what the Beast looks like when it finally arrives..... it looks like its going to take a bite at the UK.... ? PLEASE DO.. ?
  10. Please don't delete mods as I'm relating my message to the models.... what they are showing. Live BBC weather at 06:17 Just said milder this weekend but don't get used to it as there are hints of much Colder weather next week..??? If they have the latest data and it's a live up to date forcast why would it still be different to what the MODELS are showing...and to me they are all showing milder weather.. Just don't understand it... Thanks.. ?
  11. Just to add to that, Shirley ☺ if the sea temp is a little warmer come March that could beef up the snow showers as they come in from the bitter East?
  12. This link is for the classic weekly 1991 February forcast by Ian M on the BBC. Now my question to anyone. This was for the week from the 6th Feb. We had daytime temps of can you believe -5 or lower and that wasn't windchill either. Could we still ever get these type of temps if we get the perfect set up or similar to the above set up come the last week of Feb into early part of March going by what the models are hinting at? Many Thanks.. .. ?
  13. Well done John on this great post. At the time things were still looking great for cold and like you said even Exeter were still going for the real cold option but it looks like you were on the money with what you were seeing.. ?
  14. Hi Frosty. I really hope something is afoot in the extended range. It's been the same all winter though.... I can remember the end of November that there were signs of a cold spell showing for mid december, then that moved to show the Christmas period then it was put back to the period just after the start of the new year then again moved to the middle of Jan then again it moved to early Feb..... Then again moved to mid Feb and now we're looking at hopefully end of feb or sometime in March.... yes we've had some brief cold shots but mainly from North westlies which have produced snow to some regions dare I say it North of the M4 lol..... I HATE that road but all the occasions the models have been predicting bitter Northerly or Easterlies have never come off. Maybe a brief Northerly but nothing that's lasted more than a day or 2. I'm not giving up hope but it's so hard for us to get into a proper cold spell these days and for the models to get it Wright when its not a straight atlantic weather pattern with the usual low pressures coming in from the West. Keep up the great posts frosty, always love reading them and the way you post images as well to show what is being forcast...☺?
  15. But I don't want back edge snow, i want full frontal middle and back edge snow please lol.. ?☺
  16. Good morning. Is this looking good or bad please for cold outlook? Sorry but I'm a novice lol.. Thanks ?
  17. I would like to be under them big blobs ( the white ones) in the early hours.. ☺
  18. Hi Teits , hope your ok? Always loved you posts as they are always good to read and easy to understand. ( The Eye in the Sky) i think you used to be called many years ago. Anyway moving on, its looking like the middle to 3/4 of the way now through feb before hopefully we finally see some PROPER SNOW.... My question to you or anyone els is will it be a struggle to keep snow around long on the ground as its getting closer to the end of winter come 3/4 of the way through Feb.. And this isnt a end of winter post by the way lol.. thats why im asking this question. As im sitting here now in the sun in my garden sheltered from the breeze its actually feels plesant and dare i say it i can feel some heat in the sunshine down here in Kent. Lovely blue skies.... But give me snow anyday. Thanks ??
  19. Really heavy snow driving through kings hill and mereworth (kent) just now. Settling on roads very fast. Paddock wood just a dusting and not snowing.
  20. Sky was clear but clouding over now. Sky going a strange pink/red colour. Wind picking up as well. ☺
