  1. GEFS flattening the ridge again. Think it wont be too long before we see another bout of amplification though.
  2. was just about to post it, that is a proper version of what we're about to have.
  3. Yes - i can't see this winter just dying a death without any snow chances at all. we'd have to be mighty unlucky.

  5. EC46 - oh dear - @Kasim Awan will have to change his name back again to Kasim 'iberian heights' Awan. Mind you i am not sure i wholly buy into that run, its got a +ve anom across the whole of the Hadley cell for the last 4 weeks of the run. EDIT: in fact i don't buy into it at all.
  6. Any improvement on the extended Nick? Both ens means seem to be flattening the ridge by D15 recently.
  7. Yes, i really can't see Jan passing us without any chances of snow though.
  8. Yes, see the ridge gains more latitude - not nirvana but good over one suite.
  9. oh no - sorry - thought there was one for both - cant see one, there definitely used to be. scrap that - it was the op.

  11. its moving towards it - watch the last few frames - and warming has gone altogether by then so nothing stopping it getting there eventually - lets hope it doesn't affect the trop.
  12. eps solid on Atlantic ridge again. poor in the strat though, vortex gradually moving slap bang over the pole.
  13. Only on uppers though, it would be very cold overnight in any clear skies at surface, granted its a no-snow chart but could be brutal if any lying snow was still around.
