Think you’re right. Managed to get out with the dogs and child only in garden before it got dark. Wind seems to have dropped and radar looking blank pretty happy to have seen some snow here though. And even more happy knowing this hills have been getting a good top up which isn’t going to melt when the “milder” air comes in at weekend. we might all get a final 2-3hours of the white stuff tomorow between 3-7pm if we are lucky.

I work in BOD and the roads are horrendous round here!l this morning. Nice to see the sun out though making it all Bright and wintery with the snow on the ground. nut sure how much more will fall today, as the big yin said sporadic showers likely to pop up.

Just back from Aberdeen and a90 bod to balmeddie white in a big heavy shower!! Aberdeen seems to have a good covering but less out with me

Just back a walk in varying conditions from sunny to heavy snow showers. Wind is bitter though, and has increased in speed, fairly blows when a shower comes through. Snow that’s fallen is melting as quickly as it landed still. Nice to hear and see some of us are getting a decent amount and we’re not even into the peak snowfall time

Well the new temporary fence to keep the dog from jumping over the wall is up!! Morning was rather pleasant with a gentle breeze and felt rather mild working away, but boy has it got chilly in the last hour or so. Fire on and a coffee to heat up. Couple of drizzly showers this afternoon too, but looks like we might get a few showers later tonight just to get the excitement juices flowing for Monday

Just been out with dog and it’s still Baltic. Fingers were . Temp says 1°c but the earlier frost on grass has gone. Hopefully a mild ish day tomorow as I need to put up a fence to keep dog in garden

always amazed that even heading up from newburgh or balmeddie to the A90 that small increase in height can lead to heavy snow fall and gridlock

Well morning folks. Dull cloudy drizzly with a chill in the air this morning. Temp was -1c with me this morning walking the dog but has since risen to a balmy 1c. 3/4 of the weather apps I use showing snow Sunday night into Monday with varying levels of intensity. One thing I did notice, they all show the wind coming from the NW, I was of the understanding the wind would be Northerly?

Just had a peek into the Mod thread all doom and gloom again in there from the few pages I’ve raced through! Breakdown of the cold and people’s sanity is the current trend….intermixed with some very level headed posts about expectations. still looks cold out to at least the 20th before a potential return of milder air.

5°c and overcast this morning in Aberdream and the coastal shire. Didn’t feel as chilly this morning when out with the dog for a walk. Countdown clock has started with the colder air making its was towards Saturday night into Sunday and then Monday, with a good chance many will see some of the white stuff falling….but remember kids if it doesn’t snow, don’t be a end and moan

I’m on the fence until we get into the hi res range before telling anyone we’re getting snow in Aberdeen/NE unless further inland. Although upper temps look cold the snow shield at the coast may be in full force

Ahhhh but it’s only -8c uppers pushing in to this small island!! We need -16 for anything to be called winter now apparently
