    Karl, Just looking at the 850`s and the end of the ECM run..... Agreed, nice enough weather but mid 20`s best? and a weird push East of the really warm weather in the Iberian area which would rule out any plume scenario down the line? Just an observation, easier to see on Meteociel. Edit: Weird shift East as in the trough really wants to dig way south. interesting.

    I logged in just to post that, Daniel. I haven`t posted since winter but keep an eye on here and that made me come out of hibernation. That was a totally IMBY post. The Southeast looks to be around mid 20`s after looking at the tail end of the ECM 850`s. Heck that trough could even have a lesser impact than currently modeled. This period of weather has been exceptional for the UK in relation to recent years but knee jerking at a model run is annoying to read. Summer over? Meh.

    Not sure a bang is what is on the cards Nick unless there is some serious convection achieved. Just looks cold to me with a covering in specific areas, i.e. somewhere around the Wash and Kent. Dusting at best for central Anglia. Please correct me if you find that wrong (at this stage).

    Well I suppose we are now on Spring watch which will probably mean storm watch as well, which would be next weekend.

    What a turn around of events tonight, not sure what to believe in the next 24/48 hrs but we are NOT OUT OF THE GAME yet.... EDIT: This could be favoured. EDIT 2: ECM throws in a channel low Saturday. What a week.

    Finally! My thoughts for tomorrow and backed up by the Euro 4, Arpege but most importantly my guru weather mate, should get a covering, prob early doors until lunch. Happier now :-) EDIT: Arpege AROME I best not post the Euro but similar.

    Well, day 2 into the beast am I am extremely erm........ let`s say disappointed. The best synoptics in years and makes December seem brilliant. Tomorrow morning looks like the 1st dusting IMBY and I am clinging on to Friday like someone is trying to steal my last fiver. Downbeat.

    Interesting charts, obviously the same for my neck of the woods apart from peaks at about -2/-3. That makes no difference to the end of the week though (Friday) as it is the same outcome.
