  1. Interesting run from JMA with it going for a stronger high to develop from t144 unlike the others Not 100% dry but some decent weather for some 850's gradually increase as the high builds in
  2. Looks like an improving picture during the weekend with winds shifting round to a SE'ly by Sunday which should help to lift this cloud and allow temperatures to rise should be in the high teens / low 20's by Monday still cant rule out some showers but they shouldn't be as widespread
  3. NOAA is forecasting a near-normal or below normal Atlantic hurricane season season http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2014/20140522_hurricaneoutlook_atlantic.html#.U35A3NidH8g.twitter
  4. Down to 12.5c to the 22nd 1.7c above the 61 to 90 average
  5. Further showers on and off this morning currently cloudy, breezy and chilly start in Darlington just 9.7c currently
  6. A few people have been suggesting June could be a good month looking at ECM this morning it starts on a positive note Something to keep on eye on for the longer term, shorter term it looks like a mixed week next week with showers around on most days some of these could be heavy and thundery though the further north you are the drier you may stay
  7. Full accuweather European Summer Forecast 2014 is Widespread Heat & Drought for those that have not viewed it here is the link: http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/european-summer-forecast-2014/27004460 For the UK United Kingdom to Start Cooler, Wetter The United Kingdom has had one of the wettest winters on record, which will account for some lingering wetness and cooler temperatures to start the summer. However, by August that will no longer be the case. "I think it's going to be a lot of different than the winter was with all those storms in the U.K.," Reppert said. "It's going to be drying out and getting warm." The U.K. is expected to experience average rainfall and temperature levels overall for the season. 8. According to the met office we shouldn't see much more rain tonight in Darlington but looking at the radar I'm thinking other wise
  9. Up-to 12.6c to the 21st 1.8c above the 61 to 90 average
  10. Quite a difference between the ECM Op and Ensemble at t192 it has to be said
  11. BH Monday looks warm for some places but it does look like some rain may be around for some Warm for some but where your stuck under the rain in the south temperatures really struggle in some parts Looking beyond BH Monday and temperature gradually rise though it takes till Thursday before most areas see an increase in temperatures There will be some rain around at times but in any sunnier periods it should feel quite warm
  12. Can I just enquire as to where tomorrows rain is going to come from? the beeb the other day said it would be moving up from France but that band is currently moving NE just clipping the SE, are we going to have another band of rain later on which will cross the UK?
  13. ECM also showing an east to north easterly feed developing early next week as a result temperatures start to rise in the south at first then to more parts by midweek JMA is also showing this easterly feed now with some warmer air coming with it from the continent
  14. UKMO still showing us getting some for of easterly winds this afternoon for early next week It looks a fine balance at the moment as to what conditions we will get next week if it was an east to south easterly that would bring more in the way of dry and sunny conditions along with lower humidity temperatures would begin to rise quite quickly given the heat which is building up over in the continent, however a north easterly would keep temperatures lower especially in the east where we'd have more in the way of cloud and drizzle or light rain
  15. Going to go for another well above average month 16.8c is my guess
  16. Up-to 12.5c to the 20th 1.8c above the 61 to 90 average
  17. Not so sure the surface temperatures would be all that high for some parts of Scotland and the far north of England
  18. JMA once again going for high pressure to build in quite strongly next week Temperatures on the rise by mid week especially towards the south west
  19. ECM continuing to gradually build pressure next week Still the possibility of some rain / showers around at first but these would become more isolated with time Days 9 and 10 shows a gradual breakdown from the SW though northern parts hold onto some drier weather especially Scotland
  20. I'm pretty sure this warning was first issued yesterday afternoon whilst those thunderstorms in Wales were still occurring Looking nice for us tomorrow once any early cloud shifts could hit 20c again
  21. Warm hazy sunshine here in Darlington just 2 very sort lived showers earlier this afternoon Currently 21.5c
