  1. Just been up the road to Gravesend and although their snow on the ground is light, it is is considerably much more than ours, with only a 4 mile difference. Dandruff snow here.
  2. It's seemingly an all weather shield if the last year is to go by, all weather that is other than bland gray, no weather days.
  3. Am I reading the things wrong? I am getting that Medway is also likely miss the Sunday snow?
  4. Cannot believe how screwed over the Medway Towns has been this year. None of the thunderstorms, boiling heat or snow that we were supposed to beat every other area at!
  5. Me too. We've had snow, but literally no more than a dusting, not even enough to cover the pavements. Considering what we were looking at this morning, it's really disappointing.
  6. Very little here in Rochester. Got sent home from T Wells in heavy snow and not even a mild covering here. Not impressed.
  7. Just started lightly snowing in Tunbridge Wells. If it gets heavy I am heading home to work from there.
  8. Just hoping I don't get stuck out today. Have to go to Tunbridge Wells this morning.
  9. Well everything looks good for tomorrow. Permission to get excited?
  10. I can't believe people are giving up already. Does no one remember March/April from a few years ago?
  11. Some people need to calm down. You know weather is unpredictable. That's partly why we love it. Forecasters try their best to predict weather. It's what they do for a living. They are not there to trick or frustrate you. I am sure they feel just as surprised when the weather does exactly the opposite of what they expect. I for one am grateful of the time they dedicate to this site. They are human like the rest of us and are bound to get it wrong sometimes, but for the most part they do a great job.
  12. Bitterly cold here at the moment. The sort of cold when you snow snow is hanging around up there ^^^ waiyting to fall in the next few days.
  13. That is perfect. Now when it comes to summer substitute snow for storms and you have a perfect storm watching script!
  14. Come on heavy snow Monday night, got a stupidly busy day at work on Tuesday and it would be oh so terrible, if I had to stay at home and play in the snow.
  15. But, but, but I don't want a dusting. I want many inches so I can play in it all day
  16. Blimey, this thread has grown! Would someone please be kind enough to give me an update of what North West Kent can expect. I see the Daily Express is doing Yamkin style rampings!
  17. I have no idea, but if conflict and confusion from the last couple of days in the model thread powered snow, we'd be buried 7 feet deep by now!
  18. Gah! That dives me mad. I normally end up shouting at my wipers. I'm not normal, am I?
  19. Was it quite humid (for winter that is!) for anybody else this morning or was I imagining things?
  20. Not weather a such but a new series of Nature's Greatest Events starts tonight at 8pm on BBC2. I know a lot of people enjoyed the first series, so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
  21. Well it's a bit breezy this morning. I really do hope 2013 is an awesome year for weather. My dream scenario would be a snowy January with a few days off work for playing. A long hot summer for BBQ's and enjoying the beautiful countryside, interspersed with several huge old MCS of the old days and then a lovely autumn with warm days and chilly nights for snuggling on the sofa.
  22. 10.5C at 23.12 on the 23rd December. Insane. According to some family in the Med we're a good 2C warmer.
  23. Well it chucked it down on the way home. I was leaving a good gap between me and the car in front and idiot drivers kept jumping in it and then slamming their brakes on so that I nearly went into the back of them about 4 times on the way home Only just noticed the xmassy themed logo!
