  1. Not sure why they are limiting it on their main website, as you can get the full data with an API call and a free DataPoint API key?!
  2. I think that depends where you are.. I measured a UVI of over 4 this afternoon, that's certainly enough to burn skin after a period of time.
  3. You would need to pair a station with weather software to get a sunshine calculation, something like Cumulus MX or Weather Display. The software would need to support the station as well. Ecowitt stations don't have solar or UV sensors, only a lux sensor. The lux data gets converted to produce a solar radiation and a UV calculation, so it shouldn't be taken too seriously.
  4. A low of 6.4°C this morning. A few light showers earlier, and a hefty one just now. Temp in the sunshine managed 17.7°C.
  5. I think that'll be it for here. Just one shower. We'll be in that large gap now.
  6. The usual case of showers having more chance of electrical activity the further inland you are.
  7. Ended up with 39.4mm of rain today. 85mm since Sunday.
  8. Thoroughly wet today! 33.2mm so far. Up until Sunday, September's rainfall total was 1.4mm. 79.4mm has fallen since then.
  9. Happy lunchtime. Not much rain, but the winds have been gusting over 40mph, with a max of 46mph. Temp 17.5°C.
  10. Rain this morning, cloudy and dry in the middle part of the day, drizzly later in the afternoon. Temp reached 18.8°C which is the lowest max temp since August 8th. Winds beginning to crank up a little, now.
  11. All passed through here, but wow.. that was wild! It has made up for the lack of storms over the summer. Just shy of 40mm of rain in 14 hours. Rain rate of 151.6mm/hr. 334 lightning strikes recorded. A few graphs:
  12. I just checked on the neighbours gezebo.. ouch! It's made from metal and was bolted to the ground in concrete. Its completely collapsed.
  13. Wow. That was biblical. 151.6mm/hr rain rate with strong winds
  14. Difficult to see any forks now, a lot of IC lightning. Still great though.
  15. My recorded rain rate matched the radar reflectivity nicely.
  16. That was a cracking little storm! Had lots rain today, which has filled the pond up nicely. Cannot grumble at some nighttime action.
  17. It's kicking off here. Lightning in all directions and torrential rain
